With only 17% of the stimulus spent, why do we need a tax to create clean energy? It will mean more job loss, adversly affect the new housing market, and raise prices on everything.

This bill is nothing more than a tax, it is going to hurt so many people. Its not going to employee any massive amount of workers. If congress wants to do something it should support technology that will produce a clean coal product, we have more coal enough to fuel for 100 of years. Like I said we are not stupid this is a sly way of taxing us more and more. I can not believe you all would pass something you did not even read.

Yeah, like he cares if businesses go overseas, people lose jobs, or if energy prices skyrocket.

He is a Democrat. A typical loaded Democrat. Always fighting for the poor and down-trodden but the last to sincerely be concerned. HOW STUPID ARE POOR DEMOCRAT VOTERS/SUPPORTERS?

Always voting for whoever offers them the most for free. Well here’s something for free… A clue.

he should resign and so should his dad. the republicans are not the only ones who have moral failure. seems a few years ago the man in the highest U.S. office did so also. he did not resign but should have been removed from office. a closing statement: we all have an appointment with death and then judgement–only thing no one knows when he or she will be leaving this place and stepping out into eternity.

vote NO on climate bill and NO,NO.NO on Health bill look at the VA Hospitals and their “great health care” good only if you want to die All Senators and Congressmen has to have the same health care you want to give us. Bet you would never pass that bill.

If “a genetic nightmare” is a euphemism for taking on the role of victim in the absence of personal responsibility, common sense, integrity and strength of character you make a good point. I can appreciate someone having sympathy for Patrick’s and Teddy’s life struggle. However, if they’re struggling to manage their own lives and personnel affairs with little success, who are they to meddle in other peoples’ affairs and control what others eat and drink and what type of vehicle others drive. So I say to both of them retire to the private sector and get the hell out of my life.
